How Points Are Calculated

Winner Points (WP)

• If lower-ranked: 15 plus ((Difference in games in sets won times the Difference in rankings up to 7) divided by 2)

• If tied or consecutively-ranked: 20 plus Difference in games in sets won

• If higher-ranked: 10 plus Difference in games in sets won

Loser Points (LP)

• Game points = Games won in all sets  (maximum 10 points)

The challenger receives an additional 2 points.

The limit on the number of points the winner can get is 50.  The maximum number of points for a default is 20.
